Fag Knuckle is back in business

Fjus got his disgusting fag knuck with dual linkert welded directly to the intake back in running order.
Who doesnt like a colorful knucklehead filled with gaypride rainbow and pink swastikas.
He destroked it down to 4½ inch stroke instead of 5 inch. Pussy.

Fjus blew the engine 2 or 3 times last summer and now when he put everything back together he found out he had a small crack in his intake on rear head.
Maybe thats why the rear cylinder was blue and his piston got a big hole in it!

Hope this season will work out better. Nice to have you back on track man!

Stromberg 97 carb restoration

I helped My friend Lars to fix his stromberg 97 carbs.
These will sit on a old fenton 3 carb intake on his 1927 ford roadster pick up.

They where "working" but I could not understand how when I took them apart. they were very messed up on the inside...
But the axles was in very good shape so i didnt need to change them out. but everything else is new.the the carb housings was ugly and cleaned up so now they look like new.
All the linkage and screws was rusty so I cleaned them up and parkerized it all. The strombergs look better now and will work as good as new carbs again!

She has been resting in a haybarn for a while until I found a third garage space for it. and I did 2 weeks ago. So last friday my mom and dad took her for a spin down to Gothenburg for me. I had this car as my daily driver for 4-5 years, now she needs some attention.
Damn I love this car.

1936 Harley VL 4 speed transmission

How many of you have ever seen a 4 speed tranny for VL??
found 2 of them in a friends basement a while ago.
He said only 80-100 of these option trannys were ever built.
I believe they a very rare.

The right is a normal 3 speed and to left a 4 speed. Its the mother of the tranny we are used with today.

1932 Ford alumium oil pan

A couple of months ago I bought a original 1932 aluminum oilpan in sad shape.
As allways when you find something old and used item it need tender and love.
It had plenty of old repairs and the welder must have taken crack before he started because he could not know what the hell he was doing.
Everywhere it was welded it was cracked.

So we started to cut out the badest area and weld the edges to mix the old material with better. then cut a new piece of plate to fill the hole and weld it.

The starter cover was orignally made of steel but was gone when I got it.
So I took a flathead 45 Harley piston I had left from my old Harley and lathed all internal out so it would fit over the bendix gear and then weld it.

Now the big work starts to grind everything down and get it smooth so I can polish it!

Legend

Bill Hines.
I dont think this man needs a presentation.
I met him for the first and maybe the only time at Viva Las Vegas in 2006.
He is 89 years old and still working seven days a week building kustom cars.
I dont think I even be alive at age 89.

You rock Hines!

These vehicles belongs to Håkan Erixon here in Sweden.
A well know dude both as a member of A-Bombers mc/car club and

Fjus Harley 45 chopper

This guy is beyond reality sometimes. He can be a total retard and the next minute amazingly serious and a very good mechanic.
Is he a superhero or just a weirdo?
When Fjus does not wear his phantom suit he rides a harley 45 chopper, built from parts he found in his dads barn.
During the summer he use it as his daily driver, way much better then his Volvo!
keep on rocking bro!

My chopper project

2 days ago on my birthday I got a crome oil tank for my chopper from Fjus.
Thanks man!
And a week ago I found a really nice Triumph rear fender I need to get cromed.
Today I made a little mock up of some parts in my garage.
Found a 1946 knuckle engine block under a work bench and some cylinders and heads from a panhead in my shelf. Now I need to find a set of patina up sweeps and cromed type dixe muffler for panhead.
Later a 1952 EL panhead will fit the frame. Dont know yet what kind of saddle I want, but I will figure that out soon.

Right now it just hangs on the wall, waiting until Ill find the rest of the parts.
I hope I can start build it this winter.

I am still Looking for:
Old cromed oem kicker cover
old cromed hummer tank
old cromed oil pump
old crome clutch arm

Where were you in 1952?

This 1952 Ford belongs to my garage pal Johan. Its still has most of its original paint it got when it left the Ford factory in Detroit.
Johan is a guy who likes to restore old bicycles on his weekends. moustly bikes from the 30´s and 40´s.
The plan is to get this old customline Ford back on the street. It just need some small adjustment before we can make it run as smooth as a flathead can go.
